A second-generation American whose family escaped genocide, he is keenly aware of the issues that the immigrant community faces and the value they bring to America.
He is proud to represent the most diverse district in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and will continue to work on initiatives to benefit them.
Throughout his career, he has advocated for refugee settlement and breaking down barriers to help new Americans access good jobs, quality education, safe and affordable housing, and opportunities to achieve the American Dream, including business and homeownership.
