Meet Daniel
Daniel Grossberg has lived in Louisville for over 25 years, proudly serving the 30th District since 2023.
He represents the following areas: West Buechel, Buechel, Newburg, Petersburg, Okolona, Bon Air, Watterson Park, Poplar Hills, and Klondike.
He serves on the following committees: Education, Banking and Insurance, and Small Business and Information Technology. He previously also served as Democratic lead on Natural Resources and Energy, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation, and Administrative Regulations, and on the Kentucky Antisemitism Task Force. His policy areas of expertise are: social justice, affordable housing, criminal justice, public safety, education, reproductive rights, and technology policy.
As a leading figure of the new generation of Democrats, he has long helped elect a number of Democratic candidates and affected policy. Prior to being a State Representative, he was a leader in the Democratic Party at both the local and state level, and was an active community advocate on a number of issues, particularly related to social justice.
As your Representative, Daniel now has many key policies advancing through the legislature to help bring greater prosperity and equity to everyone. He wakes up every day fighting to make your life better.
Daniel lives in Louisville with his wife Erica, a public school teacher, and their two rescue golden retrievers. One of their favorite hobbies is trying new restaurants in the district. If you have a suggestion, please contact us.
